Eid In Garut

Garut city is the hometown of all my family members. Garut with nature that is still cool and cold always makes me long for the city. And family members who live there. Our whole family there if it is the season for the Eid homecoming or there, but if there is a long time off we always took a vacation there. We as a family have often surrounds the city when the Eid holiday, but probably not all places in Garut that I have not attended. Surrounded by mountains that cause cold water there and I will stay there if only shower once a day and even then during the day.

I think if celebrating the holiday meaning there is more felt than Eid family in my town that now. And his Eid prayer was done in the field directly overlooking the mountains, the scenery really always missed. After we finished prayer did not go straight home but do forgive each activity in the field. Once we forgive everything else go home to eat rice cake that has been prepared in advance. After filling the stomach we also went to the relatives to stay in touch and forgive each other, whereas in my town that is now not perform such activities. And often we visit relatives house that is located quite far away and should be taken with a driving trip.

After the Eid and approaching time to go to town, we bought souvenirs typical of the city. Among the souvenirs are lunkhead Garut, Chocodot, Moring, and rangginang Garut. We bought it for the neighbors, friends, co-workers and my father and mother. But do not take our own souvenirs such, probably because we do not really like lunkhead like foods or perhaps out of boredom because we come from the city of Garut. How was our family always miss the city and if there is excess time and money we definitely took time to go to the city. And my desire I want to spend my old age in the city.
